“I was very impressed by the exciting, intellectual and challenging work I experienced throughout the committee’s work as it provided guidance and support to the educational staff of the Neve Hof School. The personal and organizational vision of the Principal and the staff was professional, intelligent and inspiring. The school is indeed a real educational environment. It was absolute pleasure to work with you!

It is evident that your teamwork skills help to overcome challenges, address organizational needs and are based on a clear educational approach. Throughout the committee’s work, I was impressed by the Principal’s explicit vision.

Throughout the committee’s supervision, it was possible to identify the process of personal, professional and organizational growth. It was noticeable that the management enjoyed its work and teachers were involved in the presentation of the program – in the process and prior to writing the workplans. The teachers’ level of commitment also greatly impressed the committee. To my humble opinion, all these factors indicate that the staff underwent a thorough, Sisyphean and intensive process that preceded the choice of goals and developing the workplans.

Workplans reflect the vision, goals and objectives of the school for this year as well as the implementation methods to attain them. The program addresses the needs which were identified by various organization partners.”

The school was chosen by the Ministry of Education to be part of a group of 'Quality Pedagogy' Schools. Haviva wrote:

During the visit, we met an inspiring team with faith, motivation and educational perception. A team that is unified and operates as one. A team that is skilled in recognizing the strengths of every student and knows how to empower him/ her. A team that doesn’t give up on students and invests in each one through belief in abilities. We met people who are young leaders – creative, knowledge seeking and inspiring.  We have been privileged to see an optimal application of a pedagogical principle in daily practice out of faith in the way. And to you, Clara, we thank you for your hospitality, cooperation and inspirational leadership."

“Visiting the Neve Hof School was very important for us as new teachers. It was refreshing, inspiring, fascinating and challenging. Inspecting the staff, the management, and the interesting lessons encouraged us to aspire to become better persons and educators on behalf of the next generation of students. Now I understand how it is possible to integrate values and social principles in each lesson. In addition to the curriculum, today I understand how it is possible to develop innovative lesson plans in the field of gender, values, sustainability, democracy, 21st century skills or a simple mathematical exercise to transfer 45 minutes of difficulties, frustration and obligation into a pleasant experience. Thank you for offering an opportunity to learn, stimulate and renew aspirations, continue to pursue dreams as educators, and prove that the sky is the limit.”

“I saw teachers with motivation, energy and ideals. Strong, feminist women do not compromise on education and social change.

They are an excellent team, with a distinct and robust network of support between them, whose guiding principle is led by school principal Clara Yona and her deputy Natalie.

For the first time, I saw myself teaching in a place where people think like me and are interested in the same values. Who comes to education out of a desire for change, out of a desire to do and to think and to work with a productive and ethical community. Out of love for children and curiosity. With no fear.”
